The section components on this site are ports of open-source work. Each row names the original, links to it, and says what LAYA changed. The licence files are served from this site.
Components
| Where on LAYA | Original | Source | Licence | What changed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Glass surface: cursor light and rim glow | Magic UI, Magic Card | magicui.design/docs/components/magic-card | MIT (licence file) | Rebuilt as CSS layers on the existing panels, with the pointer written to two CSS variables. Colours set to LAYA turquoise and mint. No React, no motion library. |
| Glass surface: inner spotlight | React Bits, Spotlight Card | reactbits.dev/components/spotlight-card | MIT with Commons Clause (licence file) | Merged into the same surface layer as Magic Card. Larger, softer light, visible at rest and brighter under the cursor. |
| Tilt and glare on results, KPIs and the guard panel | React Bits, Tilted Card and Glare Hover | reactbits.dev/components/tilted-card | MIT with Commons Clause (licence file) | Same spring values (stiffness 100, damping 30, mass 2) in a small vanilla spring. Uses the CSS rotate and scale properties so it never fights the scroll reveals. Smaller angles, pointer devices only, off under reduced motion. |
| Headline reveal | React Bits, Blur Text | reactbits.dev/text-animations/blur-text | MIT with Commons Clause (licence file) | Same three step keyframes (blur 10, then 5, then sharp) as a CSS animation per word. Glossary terms inside a heading move as one piece. Page titles stay sharp from the first paint; section headings reveal. Headings stay plain text for screen readers. |
| Beam rail and pipeline relay | Magic UI, Animated Beam | magicui.design/docs/components/animated-beam | MIT (licence file) | Same quadratic path between node centres, redrawn on resize. The moving gradient became a dash of light on the path, and on pipeline figures it relays link by link. |
| Edge light on live panels | Magic UI, Border Beam | magicui.design/docs/components/border-beam | MIT (licence file) | Same offset-path and mask technique in plain CSS. Runs only while the panel is on screen. |
| Live chain panel grid | Magic UI, Flickering Grid | magicui.design/docs/components/flickering-grid | MIT (licence file) | Canvas port at about 20 frames a second. Added a wave of light that crosses the grid when a new block arrives. |
| Head block counter | Magic UI, Number Ticker | magicui.design/docs/components/number-ticker | MIT (licence file) | Reworked as rolling digit reels, so a new block rolls only the digits that changed. |
| Section light fields | Magic UI, Dot Pattern | magicui.design/docs/components/dot-pattern | MIT (licence file) | The dot pattern with a glow mask, plus light grain. |
| Section light fields | React Bits, Aurora | reactbits.dev/backgrounds/aurora | MIT with Commons Clause (licence file) | Two slow CSS light fields in place of the WebGL shader, so every section can have one at almost no cost. |
| Page head caustic light | LAYA, own build | n/a | Part of this site | A small WebGL shader written for LAYA: light through moving water, at half resolution, paused off screen. |
| $LAYA chrome coin, home token section | Paper Shaders, Liquid Metal | github.com/paper-design/shaders | Apache-2.0 (licence, notice) | The shader mount and fragment ported by hand to one small ES module, no React. Circle shape, tinted LAYA turquoise on a clear background. Paused off screen and in hidden tabs, one still frame on phones and under reduced motion. |
| Ribbed glass behind the decision lab path | Paper Shaders, Fluted Glass | github.com/paper-design/shaders | Apache-2.0 (licence, notice) | Same module. The demo photo is gone: the glass refracts a light field drawn in LAYA turquoise and mint. The light drifts under the ribs and follows the pointer or keyboard focus. |
| Liquid glass on the five moves of How it works | Kokonut UI, Liquid Glass Card | github.com/kokonut-labs/kokonutui | MIT (licence file) | The SVG displacement filter and the inset shadow stack as plain CSS, recoloured to mint. The music player demo, shadcn and lucide are not used. |
| Glare sweep on the signed feed rows | Magic UI, Glare Hover | github.com/magicuidesign/magicui | MIT (licence file) | Same pseudo element gradient and background position sweep in plain CSS, in mint. Runs on hover, keyboard focus and tap. Off under reduced motion. |
React Bits is MIT with the Commons Clause: it may be used as part of a website or product, but the components themselves may not be sold or redistributed on their own. LAYA uses them only as part of this site.
Motion runs on GSAP 3.15 and ScrollTrigger, served from this site. Fonts and other notices are listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md in the source bundle.
